In the first quarter of 2025, the top free-to-play games in New Zealand showed varied performance metrics on the unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Block Blast！ from Hungry Studio saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $25 in the last week of March, following a gradual increase from mid-February. Weekly downloads started at around 16.5K, declining to about 8.1K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated but ended the quarter on a high note, increasing from 204K to 211K.

Roblox maintained a strong presence with initial weekly revenue of $158K, although it declined to approximately $27K by quarter's end. Downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 8.5K and ending around 5.5K. Active users saw a slight decrease from 196K to 160K.

Township by Playrix experienced a consistent revenue stream, with weekly earnings hovering around $29K by the end of March. Downloads showed a downward trend, beginning at 8K and settling at around 3.5K. Active users decreased slightly from 25K to 23K.

Color Block Jam from Rollic Games exhibited a significant rise in weekly revenue, reaching over $11K by the end of the quarter. Downloads increased from a modest 169 to over 5.5K. Active users also grew, peaking at 17K before declining slightly to 9K.

Perfect Tidy from ABI GLOBAL LTD. showed a gradual decline in revenue, ending at around $148. Downloads decreased from 5.6K to 2.4K, while active users fell from 13K to just under 4K by the quarter's close.
